We congratulate Ji-Eun on the completion of her Ph.D. degree in Industrial Engineering from Penn State University in August 2017. Ji-Eun’s dissertation entitled “Predictive Modeling of the Deadline Rush Effect,” investigates the importance of time pressure and individual differences on work performance. Her results provide improved measurement approaches, and behavioral findings and insights that are expected to lead to new research projects. Ms. Kim has taken an appointment as an Assistant Professor of Industrial Engineering at the University of Washington in Seattle.

Congratulations – Yuki Sun
We congratulate Yuki Sun on the completion of her M.S. degree in Industrial Engineering from Penn State University in May 2017. Yuki’s M.S. Thesis entitled “Electroencephalogram Data Analysis of E-Learning Performance” investigated relationships between EEG signals and learning, when the user is presented with learning materials in different forms. Ms. Sun will be continuing her research as a Ph.D. student in the Human Analytics Lab at Oregon State.
